No prior experience is necessary to join our classes. At Breathe Degrees, our sessions are designed to accommodate all levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners. Our experienced instructors will guide you through the practice, ensuring you feel comfortable before letting you reap the benefits on your own!
When should I arrive?
When should I arrive?
We recommend arriving 20 minutes before your class starts. This allows you to get settled before completing the required breathwork demonstration, which begins 15 minutes prior to class beginning. This demo ensures you understand the science and method behind our practice. If you miss the breathwork demo, we will need to reschedule your first class to ensure your safety and comfort.

- Breathwork Classes: We’ve got you covered with all the essential equipment, including a mat, bolster, blanket, and eye mask to ensure your comfort.
- Yoga Classes: We provide yoga blocks and, if there's a breathwork portion in your class, an eye mask for the full experience!

- Breathwork Classes: Wear something comfortable to lie down in, and bring a swimsuit, towel, and water bottle. Shoes are not allowed in the studio room. If you forget a towel, rental towels are available for $5.
- Yoga Classes: Bring a yoga mat, swimsuit, towel, and water bottle. Shoes are not allowed in the studio room. If you don't have a yoga mat or towel, you can rent one for $5 each.
- Plunge Classes: Please bring a swimsuit, towel, and water bottle. Outdoor shoes are not allowed in the plunge room or sauna, allowing us to maintain a clean and safe environment.

What should I expect for my first breathwork class?
What should I expect for my first breathwork class?
For your first breathwork class, we provide all the essentials to make you comfortable: a mat, eye mask, pillow, bolster, and blanket. You'll be lying down on a mat in the studio room with loud, energizing music. If the music is too loud for you, earplugs and headphones are available—just ask any staff member! Follow the belly-chest breathing technique, as shown in the breathwork demo, to the instructor’s cadence which gets quicker as the rounds progress. There will also be a hands-on adjustment with a topical, but you can opt out if you prefer!

If you're running late, please call the studio to let us know. Depending on your estimated arrival time, you might still be able to join the class. However, if it'stoo late to join, we’ll need to reschedule your class. But since you’re already on your way, why not take advantage of the plunge and sauna?!

That’s awesome! If you don’t have a guest pass, you can purchasea separate studio credit >find the class or open plunge session that you’d like to attend > click “Reserve” > “Reserve for Guest” > and enter their email to complete the reservation. If you encounter any issues, feel free to give us a call or walk in! Just remember, a spot in our classes cannot be guaranteed without prior reservation, so it’s always best to book ahead. We’rethrilled to meet you and your friend!
Is the water in the plunge going to be REALLY cold?
Is the water in the plunge going to be REALLY cold?
Yes! The cold plunge is intentionally kept really cold to help you find ways to control your stress both inside and outside the cold. But don't worry—one of our instructors will be there to guide you along the way. You'll be stoked to see how empowering it feels to conquer the cold.
